I sit at the intersection of strategy, market intelligence, and technical execution.Throughout my career — from international education to portfolio and product strategy — I’ve found that the most valuable questions are often the hardest to answer, not because they’re abstract, but because the data is fragmented, unstructured, or constrained by regulatory and institutional boundaries.In those situations, my work has focused on identifying what evidence is actually needed and building practical ways to obtain and interpret it. This has included sourcing and operationalizing public, regulatory, and statistical datasets such as IPEDS, SEVIS (FOIA), BLS, and SDMX, and translating them into market intelligence used in high-stakes decisions.At Shorelight, I lead Innovation & Insight initiatives that support executive leadership and enterprise partners, contributing to market entry strategies, portfolio expansion, and partnership negotiations representing over $200M in projected contract value.To support this work, I design and build analytical workflows and internal intelligence applications using Python, SQL, Dash, and cloud-based data services (AWS, GCS), particularly when off-the-shelf tools fall short for the questions at handI’m comfortable moving between strategic discussions with senior leadership and hands-on analytical work, and I care deeply about accuracy, provenance, and clarity — especially when analysis is used to guide real decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.

   Lead Shorelight’s Innovation & Insight function, working directly with the company’s co-founder to support executive decision-making, enterprise partners, and company-wide analytics initiatives- Own applied research, analytics, and internal intelligence efforts used by senior leadership and partner institutions- Design and build internal analytical workflows and intelligence applications to support strategic questions spanning enrollment, market positioning, rankings, and international mobility- Source, validate, and integrate large public and regulatory datasets (IPEDS, SEVIS via FOIA, BLS, SDMX, immigration and labor statistics) with internal operational data- Develop tools and reporting systems that enable non-technical stakeholders to explore and interpret complex external data- Advise leadership on market entry, portfolio strategy, and global education trends using data-informed analysis.
