About Jackson Moody

I am a recent graduate from Anderson University with a Bachelors of Arts in Humanities and the Law and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. Bonaventure University, and I expect to add a Masters in Public Administration and Policy at American University over the next 2-3 years. Ideally, I plan on using my undergraduate degrees and potential masters or doctoral degrees by entering into a career in politics, public policy, mental health work, and counseling. I have held a number of jobs that reflect my strengths and the skills I have cultivated for myself that aid me in the professional context, including an internship at The Foundation on Economic Trends, an internship in the Human Resources and Finance departments for the City of Anderson, working for the Anderson University Office of Improvement, and a variety of other jobs dealing with customer service, developmental training, and research. Currently I am employed with the South Carolina Department of Social Services as a Child Welfare Services Caseworker in the Foster Care division. My top 5 strengths according to the Clifton Strengths Assessment are restorative, input, intellection, ideation, and relator.
