The Espionage Research Institute International (ERII) is a global membership-based organization dedicated to education and the advancement of best practices in counterintelligence, counterespionage, and TSCM.The ERII was founded by my mentor, Glenn H. Whidden, and I’m honored to build on his legacy as the organization’s Executive Director. Guided by Whidden’s motto that the greatest mistake we can make would be to miss the changes, I focus my efforts not just on expanding our membership but also expanding the caliber and breadth of our research and education on the tactics and technological solutions needed to keep one step ahead of the ever-evolving world of hostile espionage activity.To that end, I work to ensure that our annual Washington D.C. conference is both an opportunity for our 80+ worldwide members to gather and build professional relationships that will serve as a continuing resource for support and shared ideas, and an educational event designed to sharpen our skill set in leveraging the most advanced technology and tactics in the industry.I am also dedicated to reintroducing the exclusive and comprehensive Certified Counterespionage Information Security Manager (CCISM) certification program through an LMS. The CCISM certification program, only available through the ERII, addresses the basics of engineering and TSCM/Cyber TSCM/Counterespionage principles, and is the benchmark of excellence for TSCM professionals.
