Core of the Heart is a global Christian community led by Minister Johnny Chang - a man whose life story could only be written by God.
Minister Johnny spent over 13+ years in the prison system, entering at just 12 years old. After his release, he was prepared to die in the streets until he experienced a rare and undeniable encounter with God - a moment that changed everything.
With no desire for recognition, Johnny began his spiritual journey, sharing the gospel in hospitals, prisons, recovery centers and anywhere people would listen. For 10 years, he poured out the Gospel quietly, faithfully.
Then his interview on a YouTube channel called, Soft White Underbelly, went viral. Millions were moved by his life story. What they saw wasn’t a man promoting religion. They saw a man carrying the Gospel with the scares to prove it. From that moment, the Core of the Heart movement began.
We are now a growing community of over 4 million+ people who are tired of the lies this world sells: that peace comes from doing more "work", that healing is a solo mission, that God is distant.
