Offering youth and adult education for recycling and stormwater-related environmental topics. Equipped with a mobile classroom of displays and presentations, I can conveniently come to any setting including classrooms, lecture halls, and outdoor venues to lead a lesson-I have worked in community outreach and youth environmental education for over 15 years-My experience involves working with youth of all ages from K-12, as well as presentations and lectures to college classes-Specialize in educating youth about environmental education, character education, and urban gardening. Outreach and Education topics include but is not limited to:*Stormwater Pollution Prevention and Non-point Source Pollution *The History of the White River *Native Plants and Trees *Green Infrastructure, Rain Gardens and Rain Barrels *Recycling Education and Renewable Energy *Composting and Vermiculture (Worm Composting)*Macroinvertebrates as Bioindicators *Urban Gardening and Community Gardening With the help of my colleagues, I also started Camp Prairie Creek, which in 9 years has educated over 600 youth between the ages of 1st-8th grade on being environmental stewards to our local community. I also have extensive experience in community organizing of events and groups. My volunteer experience exceeds the past 18 years of my life, which includes two years of service in AmeriCorps.
