About Jerry Dantonio

I have been a professional computer programmer since the mid-90’s. I experienced both the boom and the bust of the Internet bubble first hand. It was the bust that brought me back to the region of my early youth and I now happily reside in Akron, OH with my wife. During my time as a software developer I have worked at small startups and big established companies; I have worked with tools from all the big names including Microsoft, Sun/Oracle, and Apple as well as numerous open source technologies; I have built software and web applications in industries as diverse as health care, education, banking, public broadcasting, civic engagement, telecommunications, and video games. I am a proud veteran of the US Navy.
