About Dan Mello

I started learning to code in April of 2016. I got a brief introduction with Dreamweaver when one of my old bosses asked me if I could help him build a website. Since I was good with computers I gave it a shot and I ended up liking it a lot. At the time things weren\'t working out in the construction industry so I decided to take some time off to learn code full time. I did a lot of research and decided to start learning the fundamentals of web development HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I learned a lot from the following resources: W3Schools, CSS-Tricks, MDN, and Stack Overflow along with some YouTube channels like LearnCode.academy which I bought a Node.js course from, and mpj (Fun Fun Function). I documented everything I learned a long the way, over 400 pages of notes which are all available on my website categorized in order from when I started. I spent over three years learning and building things. I wanted to make sure that I could really do things on my own before applying to any job.
