About John Daniel Johnson

The joy I found in studying mathematics and sciences led me to pursue an education in both, achieving Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics, graduating Magna Cum Laude with both.During my time at Lamar University, I received several academic scholarships & grants, most notably the National Science Foundation\'s ASCENT Grant, for which I performed and presented undergraduate research in mathematics. I took this opportunity to study methods of describing mechanical motion of kinematic chains.I look forward to lifelong learning, in the workplace and classroom. Before returning for my graduate degree, I intend to accrue experience with practical application in the industry.
