Public crime researcher focusing on establishing trustful communications between research and stakeholders.Hi Welcome,I am a crime researcher focusing on communicating crime information to public stakeholders from law enforcement agencies, policymakers to communities. We live in an unprecedented era where perceptions of crimes are often shaped by misinformation intentionally perpetuated rather than established by truth. Meanwhile for researchers, spreading out their research findings and persuading people are skills undertaught in the academy. This is surely hard due to internal and external reasons. However, I do believe that people can make effective criminal policies that achieve both safety and justice by focusing on consensus about common values and evidence rather than political and personal differences. In my career so far, I have made numerous efforts to expand crime data transparency with system stakeholders and enrich my office\'s public communication capability. Another part of my interest is to empower agencies to be better data managers, evaluators, and evidence-driven decisionmakers. I have helped system agencies understand their data and increase their data capability.
