ABOUT JADE GIFFORD

Hey there! I\'m Jade. I\'m a growth marketer, an events specialist, a place maker, and an overall someone who still happily jumps in to help sling drinks and get my hands dirty on show days when others are in the weeds. Simply put, I have an undying love affair with the hospitality industry and don\'t see that dying any time soon. I am a marketing generalist who\'s done a bit of everything and truly enjoys it all. In my current position, I spearhead marketing efforts for all shows booked by DCF Concerts out of Oklahoma City for three of Oklahoma\'s most beloved live music venues: Diamond Ballroom, Tulsa Theater + Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheatre, along with the occasional arena shows in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, and have begun to dabble in the casino realm to name a few. Currently, I am seeking to transition into event management on a full-time basis. My professional passions include event planning and production, strategic partnerships, brand activations, growth + community marketing, creative collaborations (especially visual merchandising), and continuously creating placemaking opportunities within the spaces where these events are held. I am SO proud to have played a part in producing 16 festivals and 100+ live music experiences across the Oklahoma City Metro over the last several years, including several in my hometown, Norman, OK. Regardless of my next role, I plan to constantly continue pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, find a mentor that I love to learn from, join a remarkable team to work alongside to build something great, and continue producing and marketing events that am I genuinely proud to be a part of!Really, I am excited to continue exploring my marketing and events career through the entertainment + hospitality industries. I have learned so much working on the promoter, agency, and venue side of the entertainment industry, along with over ten years actively working in the hospitality industry, that I am confident will make me a stronger marketer in all future industry-related endeavors that come my way.Think we may be a good fit for each other?
