I\'ve spent the better part of the past 12 years selling databases, financial publishing and conference sponsorship\'s into the hedge fund industry. Through that experience and after having been on a number of sales teams myself, I\'ve learned that prospecting is not only an important part of the sales process, yet vital to sales teams using less than optimal methods for locating and following up with prospects. I\'ve worked for Euromoney, Hedge Fund Intelligence, Bureau van Dijk and most recently the Mergermarket group. My entrepreneurial experience originates from building and running hedgefunddirectories.net from 20••••13. After running the directory business, I realized that we were missing out on potential efficiency gains that could only be gained from automation - employing web spiders and producing algorithms for nearly all other tasks would transform the sales executive into a conductor of his pipeline instead of one that would waste valuable time on tasks that could be pre-programmed and executed without flaw. Citadelle Data is the combination of all the lessons learned surrounding data service while baking in a number of nifty automation tools picked up through personal experience and years of client feedback.
