About Jeffrey C.
I specialize in Building Electrical Systems with basic knowledge of Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems. I emphasize, promote and ensure the success of all disciplines in the building design and construction process. I\'m very hands-on and worked on my own personal and other colleagues projects to verify my assumptions. I\'ve done a lot of work in Themed Entertainment but have an equal amount of experience in other industries such as lab and commercial work. I\'ve also been fortunate to have been involved in numerous Disney projects, both large and small scope projects, and spent time in the field doing on-site new construction observation and surveying existing site conditions. I would not be where I am today without Walt Disney Imagineering Staff/Park Facilities Maintenance folks. Their work inspires me to design and build long lasting systems that are first and foremost safe for all, sustainable, and to the highest level of quality. I believe in helping others succeed and promoting young engineers and students to enter the A/E/C industry as a career.I have long term goals to understand the basics of electronics engineering. This would include learning, understanding, and specializing in <24V design. More specifically Energy Management Systems (EMS), theme park Ride and Show Controls (Local and Parkwide systems) and facility controls. My power distribution experience include 120/240V (Lower Voltage listed first in this designation indicates 1-phase), 208Y/120V, 480Y/277V Delta/Wye 3-Phase, 400/230V TN-S (Separate PE Earth, Neutral not connected after building distribution point) European/Asian countries electrical systems. I am currently pursuing the Architectural Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Washington in conjunction with the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. The Architectural Engineering PE covers Building Systems Integration, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, Structural Systems, Project Management and Construction Administration per NCEES and the Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI).Specialties: Facility Electrical Power/Lighting Design, Basic Structural, Mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing), Low Voltage, Lighting Control and Architectural DesignResidential Electrical systems/ConstructionNon-Engineering/Other skill-sets:Tennis and Racquetball stringing, Guitar Performance, Trumpet Performance, Basic Music Composition, Peer Mentor, Basic working knowledge of Toyota/Scion 1NZ-FE engine/drive-train, suspension, intake and exhaust (Scion xB/xA, Yaris, Echo etc.)
