ABOUT JOEY C.

Arizona based and eager to pursue my appreciation for advanced topics in engineering. I have an ABET accredited BSc in Mechanical Engineering from NAU and a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from USC. I have hands on experience working in machine shops and production environments, business experience coordinating directly with large commercial airplane operators, and a deep interest in all things technical that extends into my personal life. I like to apply my technical knowledge and improve my understanding of complex topics through various projects involving metal fabrication, machining, wood-working, and electronics. I spend most of my free time in my workshop building and tinkering, and I take pride in my understanding of the technical aspects of my projects. I bring a unique perspective to any group, as I have experience working directly with machinists and mechanics, turn wrenches and fabricate on my spare time, and have the technical education to back it all up.I am very involved with my local Toyota Land Cruiser club (Copper State Cruisers), and participate in group trail runs, trail cleanups, and help fellow Land Cruiser enthusiasts modify and repair their vehicles. I am also an avid mountain biker and volunteer with the Central Arizona Mountain Bike Patrol, with a focus on maintaining South Mountain Preserve. I\'m always eager to talk with fellow enthusiasts, if we share any hobbies feel free to reach out. My most recent endeavors have been into amateur radio and leather working.
