ABOUT JEAN-CHARLES ATIEH
I am a senior Chemical Engineering student with a minor in Nuclear and Radiological Sciences who will be graduating from Clemson University in December 2025. I have completed two rotations at AFL Telecommunications in both Manufacturing and Quality Engineering, and will be completing my third and final rotation as a Product Engineer come August of 2025. I also have a year of experience working under Dr. Mark C. Thies in his research lab where we have been researching the modeling and separating of petroleum and pyrene pitches. This means, come August 2025, I will have a year\'s worth of experience in both an academic setting and an industrial setting. Alongside my studies, I have joined a couple of academic organizations, including Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society and the American Nuclear Society at Clemson. Furthermore, I have a deep passion for music, and have joined various musical organizations at Clemson. I have been a member of Clemson University\'s Tiger Band since August of 2021 and have had the honor of serving as one of the Drum Majors there for three seasons going on to four. I also have had the honor and privilege of serving as both Tiger Band\'s Vice Commander for the 2023 season and Tiger Band\'s Commander for the 2024 season. Alongside band, I have dedicated my passion for music by joining to musical fraternities: Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Social Music Fraternity (Spring 2023 to Present) and Kappa Kappa Psi Service Fraterniry (Spring 2024 to Present). I have had the privilege of serving as the Warden, Alumni Relations Officer, and President of Phi Mu Alpha, as well as the Treasurer of Kappa Kappa Psi. I am a person who has dedicated time in college to the pursuit of engineering, leadership, and music. Once I graduate, I intend to apply all I have learned over these four and a half years to serve and lead others wherever I may end up.
