As a swim coach at Sobrato, I\'m happy to help establish a fun and engaging environment for high school swimmers. Part of my role includes designing lesson plans. This includes writing intervaled swim workouts to include technique and yardage goals within a time frame of a 90 minute practice. I am required to be flexible to adjust the workout to swimmers within various levels (including state and CCS qualifying, club, recreational, and beginner swimmers) in both varsity and junior varsity groups.My role requires me to have group/classroom management etiquette, engage with the swimmers in a way they can relate to, remain adaptable, supervise the pool deck, maintain and set up equipment, have CPR/AED/First Aid/Lifeguard certifications. I help contribute with my diverse swim background with over 25 years of swimming, more than 15 years of swim instruction, and 10+ years of coaching.
