ABOUT JACK NORTON
I work at the intersection of science, venture, and creativity. From my academic foundations in biotechnology and pharmacology, through to launching new venture programs at Creative Destruction Lab, and now the Venture Science Doctorate, I’ve found my place translating science into companies that matter. My motivation has always been simple: science has extraordinary potential to improve lives, but only if it’s brought out of the lab and into the world. That’s the work I’m dedicated to — building ventures that make a meaningful impact. Beyond science and venture, I’ve always kept two threads alive. As a former competitive athlete, I carry forward the resilience and discipline of sport into everything I do. As founder of Signed by Jack, my sustainable fashion label, I design and handcraft one-of-a-kind pieces from repurposed fabrics — a practice that keeps me grounded, creative, and experimental. Across biotech, venture, design, and sport, I’m driven by the same goal: to push boundaries, create with purpose, and bring bold ideas into the world.
