Aerospace & Defense Logistics Manager, shaping Supply Chain Systems designed to meet or exceed customer expectations. Plans Supply Chain Management programs supporting the U.S, allied forces, and/or major defense OEMs supporting those forces. Works with DS & L business development and contract compliance personnel as appropriate to identify program opportunities and to develop program proposals including implementation and staffing plans for new programs. Ensure that new programs implementation and inline with budgetary constraints, while achieving program objectives and all contractual requirements. Provide staf leadership and assistance to Defense Systems & Logistics staff carrying out on-site tasks required to satisfy contractual requirements and cost targets of certain Department of Defense support programs. Develop resource requirements of several assigned programs and insure ensure business unit profit goals are achieved. Assist with development and presentation of corporate proposals for new Department of Defense program business. Coordinate program activity with the Directors of other programs to ensure that common resources and skills are leveraged across all programs whenever feasible. Provide inventory acquisition, forecasting, and disbursement advice to DS & L management. Provide Department of Defense-specific inputs for the development, implementation and execution of the overall DS & L business plan. Work with the leadership of other AAR business units and DS & L programs to support customers and programs whenever and wherever needed.
