I am passionate about taking on new challenges and solving them through code. The idea of creating and building a working application from scratch with nothing more than a computer and ideas has always been enticing to me. With a master’s degree in computer science, co-developing a company, and experience working in the software engineering field, I now look forward to my next challenge!The first coding project I worked on was a Connect 4 game during my last year of high school. Afterward, it was clear to me that I wanted to study Computer Science. Then, I continued to learn by coding different games like a Shoot ‘em up in C++, a Hex game in Java, or a breakout game in C#. For my first professional experience, I worked on developing a web application using the MVC frameworks, Symfony, and BackBone.JS. Working on a small team using the Scrum methodology allowed me to be a truly active team member and significantly contribute to the project.During undergrad at Manhattan College, I had the chance to be part of the men’s soccer team and continued my education with a Business Bachelor’s degree in Information System. In 2019, I was honored to represent my school in a Business Analytics Competition where our team finished third out of eighteen colleges and universities. After graduating, I continued my education with a master’s degree in computer science at Manhattan College. During this program, I gained knowledge about the principles of system administration, the Linux kernel, and how to program more efficiently thanks to advanced algorithms and data structures classes. Additionally, as a graduate assistant in the Office of the Associate Provost, I was charged to conduct different school-sized surveys and analyze the results with Excel, SPSS, and Qualtrics.Skills: Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C++, R, MATLAB, SQL, MongoDB, Node.JS, React, Next.JS, jQuery, Webpack, AWS, Git/Github, Linux Operating System.
