About Jack Brustkern
I am a student of economics and of the poor. Along with my professional experience and study of economic history, I have also spent over 3 months in the very poor parts of Lima, the Bronx, Mexico City, and the streets in Denver, learning from those who live there and sometimes serving them as I am able. My past experiences include- writing a book - giving talks around the US - researching, funding and launching a startup aimed at helping kids balance their tech use I also enjoy trail runs and bike rides, skiing, and backcountry backpacking.
