ABOUT JUDY BRAUS

Judy Braus accepted the position of Executive Director of NAAEE in December 2011. She was formerly the Sr. Vice President of Education and Centers at the National Audubon Society. She has been actively involved in national and international environment and education efforts for almost three decades. Judy has successfully managed the education and outreach departments at 3 national and international conservation organizations: the National Audubon Society, World Wildlife Fund, and the National Wildlife Federation. She was also the manager of environmental education programming at the U.S. Peace Corps. She has led many international environmental education projects, facilitated leadership workshops and conferences in dozens of countries, been the chief editor of several successful national publishing efforts focused on environmental education, and published in numerous nationally recognized periodicals and books. She helped create and directTogetherGreen, a $20 million alliance between Audubon and Toyota.
