As Chapter Leader for One for the World at ORU, I lead efforts to educate and engage students in high-impact, evidence-based philanthropy. Our chapter promotes the 1% Pledge—encouraging students and young professionals to commit 1% of their future income to cost-effective nonprofits working to end extreme poverty globally.My role includes:• Launching and organizing student-led initiatives, campaigns, and events• Building strategic partnerships across campus to advance global impact education• Leading outreach efforts to grow a diverse and committed member base• Advocating for effective giving through data-driven and faith-aligned principlesBy empowering future leaders to give with both compassion and strategy, we seek to embody ORU’s mission of developing whole leaders for the whole world.
