Jonathan Bahe is a leader of workplace design at NBBJ, a global architecture and design firm. A Principal and Corporate Market Leader, he is an expert on the impact of design on human capital and performance. Partnering with clients on the development of real estate and workplace strategies that support their business, he is a powerful advocate for the integration of design and strategy for NBBJ clients around the country. Jonathan believes all successful projects rely on clear communication, process and unique design solutions that are deeply rooted in the needs of the organization and community. Working with clients such as Zillow, Bungie, Swedish Health Services, Converse, Google, Moss Adams, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, he leads teams that create workplaces that are healthy, productive and prepared for the future. He was previously the managing director of the Design Futures Council where he was responsible for the evolution and development of the DFC, enhancing its position as the premier think tank for architecture and design leadership and foresight. He was also an associate principal at Greenway Group, where he worked with leading global design firms, universities, product manufacturers, and non-profits to envision and strategize about their future, particularly related to multigenerational leadership and change.Passionate about cities as a place of diversity and innovation, Jonathan is active as a leader in the Seattle community. Among many other organizations, he has previous served on the Executive Committee and Board of Leadership Tomorrow Seattle - the premier civic leadership program in the Pacific Northwest, which cultivates leaders who think systematically and drive solutions toward a more resilient and equitable future. He also served on the Executive Committee and Board of the Pike Place Market Foundation, dedicated to supporting the social service needs of the Pike Place Market Community. In 2019, he represented Seattle in the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School.He is also a member of the Architecture Advisory Board of the Rochester Institute of Technology and in 2016 was named an \"Emerging Leader\" by the Design Futures Council.
