The Print Production Specialist is responsible for preparing, sizing, quality-checking, and imposing documents for The World Bank using advanced graphic design skills and software tools. This role involves working closely with The World Bank clientele to help design and produce high-quality print materials. Ensuring all files are produced on time and to exact specifications.Key Responsibilities: 1. Document Preparation: Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) to prepare documents for print, ensuring they are properly sized, formatted, and optimized for various print processes. Quality Checking: Conduct thorough quality control to ensure that all printed materials meet The World Bank’s standards, including checking for color accuracy, image resolution, layout alignment, and overall document integrity. Imposition and Prepress: Use Apogee or other prepress software to impose documents correctly, ensuring they are organized for efficient printing. Set up page layouts for press runs, considering binding and folding requirements. File Management: Maintain organized digital files for all print materials, ensuring proper file storage, version control, and retrieval. Collaboration and Communication: Work with designers, project managers, and print vendors to ensure that all print specifications are met and that any production issues are addressed in a timely manner. Final Proofing: Provide final proofs for approval before production, confirming that all design elements, layouts, and copy are accurate and adhere to brand guidelines. Troubleshooting: Resolve any technical or design-related issues that arise during the print production process, ensuring smooth workflow from start to finish.This position requires a combination of creative and technical expertise to ensure that The World Bank’s print materials are produced efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standard of quality.
