Support the EVA Environmental Physiology (EEPL) Laboratory, which conducts research and provides operational expertise in several technical disciplines to address health and performance risks for astronauts. Provide support for human research studies directed toward development and evaluation of new hardware to support upcoming planetary Exploration missions.Responsibilities- Work with the NASA H-3PO Lab Lead and Technical Area Integrators to implement research activities outlined in the Integrated EVA Human Research Plan and the Exercise and Performance Strategic Roadmap- Assist with coordination of human research studies and engineering evaluations, including scheduling and integration with study team, stakeholders and collaborators- Prepare study documentation, including Institutional Review Board protocols, test plans, test readiness review packages, progress reports, etc- Design and maintain data acquisition systems- Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and monitoring for tests/evaluations- Monitor human subjects and collect physiological data during research studies and/or operational training, including at analog facilities and field locations
