As the Founder and Host of NextGen Talks on KDRT 95.7, I lead a bi-monthly radio show that engages local leaders in conversations about issues affecting youth. I interview city officials, community leaders, and activists to offer a platform for discussing topics like public safety, housing, and education, all of which are crucial to young people. My goal is to bridge the gap between youth and local government, promoting active engagement and fostering a sense of civic responsibility. Through this program, I help amplify the voices of young citizens and encourage them to take a more active role in shaping their communities.Conducted 5 in-depth interviews with local elected officials, including a Davis City Council member, a former mayor, a police chief, and a state senator. Produced dozens of promotional interviews featuring community leaders and activists.Delivered 5 hours of radio content focused on topics critical to youth.
