As the current athletic director my responsibilities include but are not limited to; working with students, parents, faculty and administrators as part of the Athletic Officeadministrative team. Assisting in the selection and assignment of coaches and staff. I organize and schedule interscholastic athletic events. My job requires me to hire officials and game-day staff: timers, ticket-takers, scoreboard staff, announcers, gameadministrators, and event staff. It is my responsibility to arrange and confirm bus or other transportation for athletic participants. I coordinate practice schedules for gym and fields and organize and update the athletics section of the CIF website, North Coast Section, SJND official Instagram Account, and school website. On a daily basis I write and post alerts and/or messages to students, parents, and families in regards to athletic updates, cancellations, changes, etc. Game day operations include supervising and assistanting at home games during the school year (afternoons, nights, and weekends). It is my responsibility to maintain paperwork required by the CIF per season, per sport. Lastly, I perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal.
