ABOUT JAZMIN MIRANDA
I’m a current fourth-year student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Financial Economics with a minor in Information Systems. I’m also working toward an Intercultural Communication Certificate in Spanish and an Accounting Certificate, which will help me meet the coursework requirements to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.Through UMBC’s VITA program, I’ve passed the IRS Intake/Interview & Quality Review Exam and the Basic Tax Certification Exam, providing me with hands-on experience in tax preparation and financial reporting. After graduation, I plan to pursue CPA candidacy and continue building a career in accounting.
