ABOUT JAZLYNN YOUNG
As a recent University of Alabama at Birmingham MSHA/MSHI graduate, I have a variety of healthcare experience across healthcare organizations. I have been fortunate to gain experience from rural health hospitals, a full-service ambulatory care facility, faith based integrated delivery centers, and academic medical centers. I gained a passion for healthcare from growing up in a single parent household, experiencing health care disparities and inadequate access to care. My interests within healthcare are addressing health care disparities, the enhancement of quality/patient experience, employee engagement, and overall process improvement. My core values are transparency, accountability, respect, teamwork, and compassion. Some of my strengths include leadership, interpersonal skills, and self-awareness.
