ABOUT JASPREET C.
I am Jaspreet Chhabra, a final-year Computing Science student at the University of Alberta, graduating soon and seeking full-time opportunities in Machine Learning, Robotics, and Embedded Systems.Most recently, I completed a co-op at Nokia Bell Labs in the Modelling and Optimization Group, where I built a cloud-native digital twin platform on GCP, integrating 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) and NeRF-based reconstruction with real-time 3D segmentation and interactive WebGL visualization.Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Smart Mapping Laboratory, developing LiDAR-based machine learning pipelines for roadway analysis, including 3D segmentation, parking automation, and pillar-A blindspot simulation.I currently serve as the Co-President of Albertaloop, University of Alberta High Speed Rail Project, where I oversee pod development, guide the electrical, software, and propulsion teams.With a passion for learning, I continuously seek opportunities to expand my knowledge.
