About Jay Tomar
Some people find their calling early; for me, it’s always been about experimenting, and figuring out what makes things work. Right now, I am a Brand Manager at Berger handling a portfolio of 8 products. My aim is to take our grassroot brands to every rural home in our country and make their spaces beautiful. From simple stuff like content, campaigns, storyboards to more fancier stuff like advertising, brand planning, product development, and P&L, I handle all of these. Before this, I was a central hub for various departments and handled brand activations on dealer counters and marketing communications for all emulsion brands. My journey has been about pushing boundaries & experimenting. I majored in Marketing from IIM Udaipur and did graduation in Electronics from Delhi University. Beyond this, I have been involved in diverse fields like women empowerment, exam preparation, sports, college politics, COVID help groups, etc. One of my proudest achievements is co-founding Exordium, the Civil Services Cell at Sri Venkateswara College, to guide students in shaping their careers in Civil Services. I love teaching and diving into deep discussions about absolutely anything. If something has a puzzle to solve, count me in. Outside of work, I’m a gamer, an animal lover, a lifelong student, and, let’s be real, a doom-scroller at times.
