   The Fellows Program at the MacArthur Foundation awards unrestricted fellowships to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional creativity in their work and promise for important future advances. As Senior Program Officer with special responsibility for the sciences, mathematics, and engineering, I will focus on reviewing and developing nominations in science, engineering, and math and on leading the program’s engagement with experts in STEM disciplines. I will also contribute to ongoing and new initiatives within and beyond the Fellows Program. Note that the Program doesn\'t accept unsolicited nominations - so if you have someone in mind, stay tuned this fall to see if they are in the next class of Fellows!I am also a Program Officer with the 100 & Change Program at MacArthur This very exciting program has the goal of granting $100 million to fund a single proposal that promises real and measurable progress in solving a critical problem of our time.
