About Jayson Sime
My career history building relationships, inspiring teams, engaging diverse audiences, managing projects, developing training, facilitating programs, and problem-solving are a few ways I contribute to nonprofits, small businesses, and political organizations. As a Interim Senior Director at The Wilderness Society, I work with the leadership team to develop strategies, engage diverse audiences, optimize efficiency, lead projects, guide staff, and advance growth. Previously, as the founder of Right to Shine, I developed and facilitated training, including coaching individuals and teams on self-care and wellness strategies. Based on my experience I wrote a book, Self-Care Hacks: 50 Tips and Tricks to Maximize Your Performance, Well-Being, and Happiness. REI contracted me as a keynote presenter in conjunction with the documentary How to Run 100 Miles, and I was honored to speak at 5+ REI festivals. The audience engagement and interactions were a definite career highlight, and many lasting relationships and connections were built. During my roles as State Director for America Votes and Senior Strategist for Warren for President in Colorado, I managed top-tier complex projects, led campaign initiatives, and created the infrastructure for the Nevada caucus—one of the first “early window” caucuses in the state’s history. Attending my first yoga class while serving in campaign roles sparked my understanding of proactive stress management. I also secured a Nutrition Therapy Practitioner Certification in alignment with my lifelong learning passion and as a way to help others optimize their health.
