Thank you for understanding.I’ve spent over 20 years growing as a design- and user-centric software engineer, tech lead, and manager/leader, responsible for building scalable systems, sustainable product teams, and mentoring/developing engineers in the workplace and the classroom.Since roughly 2012, I\'ve had a keen focus on growth, learning and development. In terms of service, that\'s powered my move into teaching web development bootcamps, including multiple cohorts @ UC Berkeley Extension, UCLA Extension and University of Denver since 2017. In addition, I\'ve enjoyed the privilege of advising, coaching, and mentoring through programs like CODE 2040 and Marcy Lab School, as well as and advising companies aiming to have a lasting impact on their communities. Since 2015, it\'s fueled my learning, development and growth as a senior member of engineering teams and moving into management. As a people manager and leader, I see trust, empathy, respect and psychological safety as the foundation of any great team environment. That\'s an environment that truly creates space for experimentation and learning, for connection and interaction, for growing and development, and ultimately, for driving successful outcomes for the customers we serve in a way that syncs with our individual goals.
