About Jayshree Bhat
I have spent more than two decades working at the intersection of higher education, workforce development, and leadership growth.Much of my career has been dedicated to building programs that help individuals and institutions navigate moments of transition. I have led workforce and continuing education divisions at universities, launched initiatives that connect employers with emerging talent, and worked closely with faculty, industry partners, and community organizations to design learning experiences that address real workforce needs.Through that work, I developed a deep interest in how people rediscover their strengths and reposition themselves when their careers reach an inflection point. That interest eventually led me to found Lotus Ladder Collective.Lotus Ladder Collective focuses on empowering women, particularly South Asian women in professional transition, to rise with confidence, lead with purpose, and reengage in meaningful work and community impact. Our programs help participants clarify their strengths, build leadership capacity, and contribute to nonprofit and community initiatives.Alongside this work, I continue to engage in broader conversations about the future of workforce development.
