About Jay Savaliya

I am a Chemical Engineering student currently in my final year at Government Engineering College, Valsad. I began my journey with a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Krishna Institute, Jamnagar through the D2D route.During my diploma, I completed a project on “Fuel from Plastic Waste”, which gave me insight into waste-to-energy conversion. At the degree level, I worked on a project related to the Deionization of Water, helping me understand water purification at an industrial level.Apart from academics, I served as the General Department Head for our college’s annual tech fest, where I gained leadership and coordination experience.I also completed an internship at Navin Fluorine International Ltd, where I was placed in the R-32 production plant. There, I learned about the refrigerant manufacturing process and observed the safe handling of Hydrofluoric Acid (HF) in real plant conditions.I am interested in plant operations, process safety, and learning from real industrial experience. I want to build my career in the chemical industry and keep developing my skills through practical work.

   Exposure to DCDPS product manufacturing, basic quality parameters, and industrial usage in sulfones production.Understood end-to-end product flow, from raw material input to final product handling and packing.Gained familiarity with plant operations, safety practices, and coordination between production and quality teams.
