Experience
Test Engineer
Jun 2024 — Present · Colorado Springs, CO, US
In my role as Test Engineer, my primary responsibility centers on the Weapon System Evaluation Program (WSEP), Tactic Development (TACDEV), and Threat-based testing and data analysis for Space Force systems. My work is focused on evaluating system vulnerabilities across the entire architecture, utilizing both real-world and simulated environments to ensure comprehensive assessment. Drawing upon my space domain knowledge and experience, I define and develop thorough test plans designed to incorporate operationally realistic measures, objectives, and scenarios. These plans are crafted to evaluate system performance and effectiveness, specifically assessing the feasibility and practicality of system characterization, tactics, and threat events within operational environments. I actively participate in Design of Experiment (DOE) activities, where appropriate test techniques are determined, as well as methods for data collection and approaches for data analysis. This ensures the testing process is conducted with the necessary rigor, producing reliable and actionable results. Additionally, I assist the Operations Research Manager (ORM) throughout the data analysis process, contributing expertise and supporting the evaluation of test outcomes. The collective results of these efforts are compiled and presented to leadership and approval authorities during the Planning, Execution, and Reporting phases of the Test and Evaluation Process. This ensures transparency and provides decision-makers with the necessary information to make informed choices about system capabilities and vulnerabilities.
