I am an IT and cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience across corporate, private, and public sectors, specializing in risk management, IT governance, cloud services, security architecture, operations, and compliance. I excel in strategic planning, building high-performing teams, and optimizing enterprise security programs, with expertise in integrating cybersecurity into mergers and acquisitions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business transformation and resilience. With a proven ability to implement defense-in-depth architectures, I am dedicated to delivering measurable outcomes and fostering a culture of cybersecurity excellence.I love creating teams and mentoring others who want to make a difference and do not see an obstacle or change as a threat but a challenge to grow. Developing an information/cyber security strategy is complex and should provide a future vision while being flexible enough to adjust with the organization. A critical part of the strategy is identifying where reducing complexity can develop a return on investment, allowing the organization to operate with less friction. My goal is to continue gaining experience with corporate boards and developing strategies that align with the organization\'s goals and objectives. The strategy should provide a clear path for a return on investment while maturing the culture. Outside of work you\'ll find learning something new. Whether it\'s listening to a podcast, researching new places to travel, or learning how to pick a lock, or be a better photographer. I\'m always seeking ways to feed my mind. Ideally, I would like to dive and explore the ocean, witnessing the beautiful coral and animals the earth has to offer.
