Teaches seated and online classes. Subjects taught - Abnormal Psychology, General Psychology, Developmental Psychology and the ACA - Student Success Course at MCB Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River. I love teaching Veterans. I am a graduate of the Instructors Academy and Graduate of Instructors Academy and first mentee in the newly formed Adjunct Mentor Program. The Mentoring Program pairs an Adjunct Professor with a Fulltime Faculty Professor. It has been an amazing opportunity. Very blessed to teach at a college that values their faculty and is willing to invest in them so that the student has a better classroom experience.Inspires professional and academic growth by making learning fun and interactive in the classroom and online. Responsible for course design, lesson plans and test administration ensuring academic fairness. Utilizes current events, YouTube, and various outside resources to reinforce course material. Encourages critical thinking and welcomes ideas or thoughts different than own.
