ABOUT JAYNE GOLDSTONE

I generate strategy, ideas and initiatives to deliver on departmental targets. Often, I manage the business change; transformation / re-engineering to deliver the appropriate solution, re-evaluating and adjusting it in an iterative agile manner as things change. Drawing on a wide variety of skills enables me to act in different capacities, such as: Business Manager / COO; Sponsor; Programme Manager; Project Manager; Integration / Divestment Manager – or a combination of these.Being passionate and totally inspired about strategy and change, I thrive on no two days being the same and the constant challenge to- learn and look to the future in terms of business and technology innovations - be a diverse and an innovative problem solver - collaborate with and learn from people with differing skills / expertise- communicate with people from juniors to executive level and across different skillsetsAll with the aim of delivering the best solution and contributing to an organisation’s / bank’s success with benefits ranging from: increased revenue reduced costs increased profit better decision making greater efficiency superior data analysis and understandingOften a combination of these benefits.Examples include- Increased revenue by $2bn by launching new products- Increased revenue by integrating 2 banks, an energy trading company and a U.S. Hedge Fund- Reduced costs by $1.5m by building collaborative relationships with vendors and negotiating with them- Generated income through divesting sold businesses - such as a wealth management business ($880m deal); a management buy-out (‘MBO’) of a corporate finance group and of a stock broking division- Maximised efficiency and effectiveness by programme managing the standardisation of technology activities across the EMEA and LatAM officesUnderpinning all this, I am a Chartered Accountant with an MBA (having majored in Strategy, Technology and the Strategic Management of Technology) and PRINCE2 Foundation certified.
