   At this nonprofit serving rural Western Washington County, Oregon, I manage the marketing activities for the home building/home ownership program, the critical home repair programs for vulnerable homeowners, and the affiliate\'s homeownership advocacy efforts, as well as marketing for the Forest Grove ReStore, to drive sales & to educate the community about how the ReStore is more than \"just a thrift store\"(such as highlighting its recycling efforts). I also promote how the affiliate involves volunteers and drive volunteer recruitment efforts. Communications goals are to increase awareness about Habitat\'s activities and accomplishments in our geographic area, attract more financial donors, target possible program participants, recruit volunteers and celebrate their engagement, and increase awareness about how the ReStore relates to Habitat programs. In February 2024, I had the honor of representing West Tuality Habitat at Habitat on the Hill, meeting with our congressional representatives and their staff to advocate for affordable housing and funding for our critical home repairs program. In May 2025, I was a part of mostly Habitat International employees at a week long Habitat build in Paraguay, as part of the Habitat Global Village program. In August 2025, I went through Habitat\'s New Affiliate Leader Orientation, an intensive week-long training on all aspects of managing a Habitat affiliate, including the ReStore.
