ABOUT JAY MEHTA

I work at the intersection of finance and innovation with a strong interest in how emerging technologies and founder behavior translate into long-term value.I grew up in an entrepreneurial family and spent several years hands-on in the business across finance, operations, leading finance team and automation projects. More recently, I’ve worked in innovation and venture-adjacent roles, scouting early-stage startups, conducting initial due diligence, and built automation for Fund Reporting for CFO\'s team and AI-driven tools to identify market & technology trends. I’m particularly drawn to the pre-seed and pre-investable stage, where judgment, empathy, and pattern recognition matter more than polished metrics.I’m motivated by challenges, long-term learning, ownership, and working closely with founders and investors that connect financial rigor with technology-driven execution. I’m particularly drawn to early and growth stage ventures and founder support, especially in contexts where network access and pattern recognition matter. Currently based in Berlin, I’m always keen to connect with founders, operators, and investors working on ambitious problems at the early or growth stages.
