As Product Owner for DOL.gov, I lead the digital strategy and modernization of one of the most-trafficked federal websites, serving over users daily and supporting 24 agencies. My role focuses on improving public access, digital service delivery, and operational governance.I led the design and implementation of an AI-powered multilingual content proof-of-concept using Azure OpenAI, enabling real-time translation and improved content workflows. This effort laid the foundation for scalable language access across DOL.gov and informed agency-wide content strategy.To enhance accessibility and compliance, I drove a 95% reduction in Section 508 violations (from 34,354 to 1,853), improving usability for millions of users. I also led initiatives to optimize search, navigation, and personalization based on behavioral analytics.I created standardized project tracking systems for the Directorate of Digital Transformation, improving backlog management, risk mitigation, and Agile workflows. I also formalized intake and collaboration practices to strengthen cross-team efficiency.As chair of the Change Control Board (CCB), I oversee platform improvements and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with federal IT goals. I serve as a Technical Evaluation Panel (TEP) member for multi-million-dollar procurements, leading vendor assessments and contract selection under FAR.Key projects include the DOL.gov AI content strategy, OALJ Case Search refactoring, and cross-agency digital transformation efforts that support long-term accessibility, modernization, and stakeholder engagement.
