About Jay Matukas
I was born just outside Boston, Massachusetts, and spent many of my younger years helping run a family business. I later moved to New Hampshire as a young adult and began my career in retail sales and the automotive retail industry. Today, I’m proud to work for Cox Automotive as a people leader in the Software Implementation division. I spend a great deal of time traveling across the United States and Canada to connect with customers and teammates, and I’ve visited all 50 states.In 2025, I relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina, where I continue to balance professional growth with personal development. I am enrolled at Champlain College, pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management. I’m passionate about lifelong learning and developing the skills to build stronger organizations.Above all, I’m driven by a passion for helping people grow and for fostering diverse, inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive.
