ABOUT JAY MARCUS
30 years of experience in the window covering industry. I am currently the Regional VP, East at Automated Motorized Shades, a wholesale window treatment manufacturer that specializes in motorization and automation of window coverings. We fabricate Roller Shades, Roman Shades, Woven Woods, Honeycomb Shades, Sheer Horizontals and motorized Drapery Tracks. I have worked in both the retail and wholesale sector of the window treatment industry as a sales representative and have held management positions for the last 14 years. I possess a strong computer background. I am trained on Microsoft Office and am highly proficient using Excel. I have helped configure company software and assisted with numerous IT projects. I am a Microsoft Partner and specialize in spreadsheet design. As a side note. I have also been a Disc Jockey for over 35 years. I was the DJ at the world famous night club, Penrod\'s on the Beach in Fort Lauderdale for over 6 years and opened one of the country\'s first all video format nightclubs (\"The Carnival Room\") where we mixed videos live. I also worked at Shaker\'s nightclub located in Fort Lauderdale for over 2 years. I now DJ and MC at private events. I am involved in all aspects of party planning including: musical programming, event coordination, and event decorating.
