About Jaylon T.

I started out with a love for math and science, so mechanical engineering made sense to me. I didn’t realize until later that computer science might have been a better fit, but by then, I was already set on my path. I went straight into consulting, starting as an analyst in Chicago. And when COVID hit, I knew it was the right time to pursue my long-time goal of getting an MBA. I applied. I got into Booth. I went to Booth. My goal was straightforward: understand how the business world works, get good at it, learn to do it efficiently, and ultimately, find a way to do it for myself. So, at 26, I earned my MBA with concentrations in business strategy, behavioral science, and entrepreneurship. Now, I’m based in Cleveland, profitably managing and growing a multi-billion-dollar product line with full profit and loss ownership—a role that still feels surreal to describe. Alongside my work, I consult startups on CX, marketing, and business strategy.
