I am a multimedia Black culture reporter at The Associated Press with three years of experience creating audio, video, and written profiles on the intersections of culture, economics, and religion in Black and African communities. I started journalism, hosting and producing a podcast named Where We Wake Up, which captured the journey of Gen Z and Millennial self-discovery through the stories of their past experiences.
