About Jay Kulkarni
Jay is a seasoned Project Management professional with global energy infrastructure development experience and currently serves as a Project Manager with Albemarle, one of the world’s largest lithium producers, supporting an innovative Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) project critical to the global energy transition. He is also the Founder, Managing Partner, and Principal Sponsor of Catalyst Investments Group – a private equity real estate investment company focused on the acquisition, stabilization, and operation of commercial properties within the Texas real estate market.Prior to launching Catalyst in 2020, Jay was an Offshore Project Engineer with deep project management experience across the upstream and midstream energy sectors. He has led major capital projects from feasibility through development, construction, and start-up operations for over 20 years across multiple geographies.Over the course of his career, Jay has planned, executed, and advised on major projects totaling more than $60 billion USD in gross capital investment across various lifecycle stages. In parallel, he has underwritten over $650 million USD in commercial real estate due diligence.Jay holds the following credentials: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Lead Investor, and Independent Rental Owner Professional (IROP).
