About Jay Jenco
For over 15 years, I have focused on providing a positive experience to our clients through hands on service and understanding our clients’ needs. I work directly with clients on accounting and financial statement compliance, outsourced accounting, forward thinking tax minimization strategies and advising on accounting issues as they come up. I enjoy the process of building relationships and working collaboratively with our teams to have a positive impact. The majority of my experiences with clients have been long term in nature, and these are the most rewarding. As both the external environment and the dynamics of a client’s business changes over time, we want to be involved as a partner and resource through the changes. Our compliance services include traditional audits, reviews, compilations and tax services. Our real estate accounting and hospitality accounting services practice has implemented important value added services. These services include cost segregation studies, Opportunity Zone consulting, outsourced CFO and software implementation services specifically for the real estate business, specialty tax credits (i.e.179D, 45L), and consultation on deferred exchanges, and PILOT programs in NJ, outsourced accounting for real estate and real estate developers. We also provide HR and recruiting services, wealth management, life insurance, business process reviews, IT support, outsourced accounting and many other service. I also work with clients in other industries and approach them with the same dedication. Those industries include manufacturing, distribution, professional services and international investment in US based companies. I am a member of the AICPA and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Wiss & Company, LLP, I gained valuable experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where I served as an associate and was responsible for working on audit engagements of publicly traded companies.
