England Basketball Level 2 Head Coach at multiple venues in Buckinghamshire. I am involved in coaching age 4 through to 16 years old.Really nice and refreshing to report to another owner and have employed status on this gig. Coaching kids has certainly improved my leadership and management skills in my own business. When you become a business owner and it becomes your identity, I think its normal to wonder if you are up to working for someone else again. However, I\'ve realised that a business owners mindset can\'t do things half heartedly. I believe that I am bringing a high level of accountability, initiative and a desire to go above and beyond.

ABOUT JAY WHITE
20 years of selling and customer service experience. Much of this has been dedicated to the residential lettings and property management industry where I am presently Director of Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists. My specialist skills are sales (i.e. as a field), residential lettings, and property management in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (and surrounding areas). I\'m a business owner of 10 years. Wow. Time flies. I love business generally and enjoy to develop and learn new skills, consume and share thoughts on topics such as leadership, motivation, strategy etc. Self confessed business book geek (but I like to mix it up with some deeper stuff).In 2021 (and probably an aftereffect of the COVID pandemic) I took up basketball coaching. Having been a dedicated basketball player throughout adolescence/young adulthood, I felt like it was time to start giving back a little. I presently enjoy coaching children 4-16 years old, and find it’s good for the soul in this regard (currently working with Hoop Heroes basketball club).Finally, I want to write on LinkedIn about interesting things. I don\'t want to post generic stuffy content. I think this would be boring and a drag. I\'m not an employee of a corporate company (because if I was, I would be admittingly too self conscious and cautious to post). I own my business and I think I owe it to myself and LinkedIn to talk a little more freely and personably. Therefore and hopefully, I can offer some interesting thoughts, share what I come across - and if its interesting for you - lets connect. You never know when our paths may cross in the future.
