ABOUT JAYHYUN SUH
Hi! I am a senior at Pomona College (Claremont, California) studying Cognitive Science (Human-Centered Design concentration) and Mathematics. I am originally from South Korea, but I grew up in the Bay Area.I am most curious about the human aspect of problem solving, especially the process of empathizing with people to truly define their needs. What excites me most is the possibility of bridging this qualitative world to the data world. I want to take these nuanced and personal human needs, and translate them into standardized, mathematical frameworks that drive meaningful action. It’s where empathy meets analytics, where we can solve problems not just efficiently and meaningfully.This interest has fueled my academics, my work in startups (roles in growth, product, special project lead), and experience in venture capital.Other than that, I have played soccer throughout my life (Santa Rosa United) and still play even now, and I watch Manchester United consistently. I also love am devoted to Coldplay and In-n-out.jaysuh.me
